*Thought Buro technically does have wifi, the connection is well known among gastown residents to be quite poor and mostly unusable. We tried on three occasions over four weeks and were unable to connect*
THE HOLLAND BLOCK GASTOWN
An iconic Vancouver landmark at the convergence of Water & Cordova Streets. It was built in 1892 as a hotel contributing to the vibrant street life in Gastown. Up to this day, it remains Vancouver’s most avant-garde neighbourhood.
Buro restored the exterior facade while integrating the triangular building architecture into the interiors. A central triangular commune table was organically aligned with intersecting streets. Custom brass lighting was used to complement the heritage period of the surrounding.
With wide open views across shop windows, Buro’s location is the gateway to the lively streets of Gastown, and your ideal setting to meet, relax, and plan ahead. (Buro website)
