The original Bodega Hotel was a wood frame building that featured Joe Fortes as the saloon bartender. The building burned down in the great Vancouver fire, and the building we see now was constructed in it’s place circa 1886. Most units still feature the original hardwood flooring, exposed brick and ornate framing details. No parking, but there are leased stalls available nearby. Zoned HA2 for work/live. No elevator in the building.
