Built in 1907, 27 Alexander was first used as a distribution warehouse for a candy company. In the 1930’s, it was purchased along with the adjacent 25 Alexander and both buildings were converted into a single warehouse by Vancouver Supply co. The two were redeveloped into condos in 1996, which included the addition of two stories. The Alexis & Alexander are unique in the fact that the two buildings have separate strata councils but share the same entrance, lobby, hallways and parkade.
